Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO)
Founded more than 50 years ago, The Vietnamese National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) has during this time made many important contributions to the cultural and social life of Vietnam. The VNSO comprises professional graduate and post-graduate-level musicians and also includes many players who have been trained abroad such as in Russia, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, France, China and Japan. The VNSO is today a full time professional symphony orchestra which performs to an ever increasing standard and is able to attract large audiences. At present, the Orchestra is working with renowned international conductors and soloists on a regular basis to further develop to international standard.
