HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO)
Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) made its debut on September 9, 1994. It is now comprised of three artistic functions: The Symphony Orchestra, the Ballet, and the Opera, capable of staging major classics and Vietnamese productions.
The HBSO is now regularly throwing two shows on the 9th and the 19th each month at the City Opera House, with ever increasing appeal to the City public, thanks to the enriched playbills, and the highly committed spirit in the HBSO productions. Apart from the performance schedule in Ho Chi Minh City, the HBSO also puts together many concert programs to suit the appreciation of the provincial audience and makes tours to several locations all over the country.
